Franklin University Residencies

Franklin University might be one of the best colleges to attend if you are stressed for time or are preoccupied with work. However, Franklin does not offer on-campus housing. The reason they do not offer on-campus dorms is because most of their students are working class adults who are returning to college to further their education.

Upon applying to Franklin it would be best to look for housing around the university’s campus. One of the best ways to do this is to use Franklin’s Student Services Association or SSA. SSA is dedicated to helping the average student achieve personal goals and to help with anything that a student might have questions about. SSA will point out key locations around Columbus that are most likely to have environments and atmospheres suited for the college student.

Columbus presents a few key area’s that are perfect to accommodate the needs and wants of a student. These areas contain wonderful lofts, apartments, condos, townhomes and houses you can rent. German village offers 233 acres of available houses, restaurants, and shops to walk through and explore. The arena district is a great place to experience if you want to watch sports or have a great bite to eat.

Short North hosts extravagant art festivals that display passion and character. Short North also has wonderful lofts, condos, apartments and townhomes that are as beautiful as the festivals around them. Italian Village is a historic district that has decided to take action against the demolishing of some of the most historic and important buildings in Columbus Ohio. Italian Village and Short North were both awarded the “All American City” award in 1986. Making both these places a great location to rent from and live in.

To acquire a living space in one of these areas is quite simple. First you can go through a realtor and they will find you locations suitable to what you want. Second, the internet is very useful in finding these areas and you visit each locations website to come upon more information. Finally you can go through Franklin’s SSA. Again SSA will help you succeed in finding a location suitable so that you are comfortable and well suited in a community.

These areas will present wonderful help to your schooling and responsibility for you to become the necessary adult in your life. The areas will give you a wonderful time in all the events planned and will let you experience a side of college that only Franklin can let you experience.
